Let’s make a VIRTUAL IMPACT together!

During a time when our country and our world is paying close attention to the risks and spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we can still spread the love, cast high fives and give supportive hugs at the New Day Luncheon –  virtual style .

There is no way to predict how the COVID-19 situation may progress over the next twelve days. Therefore, we have decided to modify the New Day luncheon scheduled for March 24 th  as a safety measure. We invite those registered (or who want to register) to attend to join us virtually verses in person.

Our top priority at Newhouse is the health and safety of our staff, residents, donors, volunteers and community. While we are disappointed not to share this day with you in person,  we know we can count on you to stand up for survivors from the comfort of your own space.

The New Day Luncheon is a key source of revenue for Newhouse, generating close to $50,000 each year. These dollars are critical to our mission and the direct support we provide to help survivors heal from trauma– half of whom are children. But we know we can count on you to tune in virtually and to share this invitation with others to learn how you can impact a resident by making a one-time gift, or by joining our new  “Be The Voice” monthly giving program. Monthly giving allows Newhouse to budget life-saving dollars throughout the year to ensure we have the resources necessary to help those in greatest need.

Stay tuned for more information to be released and keep your calendar marked for March 24 th for the  VIRTUAL LAUNCH  of New Day Luncheon. This MISSION FILLED virtual event is sure to inspire you – safely from the comfort of your personal space.

Thank you for being our partners to break the cycle of domestic violence!

Fondly,
